GLS Belgium achieves official recognition for its cybersecurity framework
The CyFun Important label confirms GLS Belgium’s structured approach to cybersecurity and risk management.
The recognition is aligned with the stricter requirements of the European NIS2 Directive for critical sectors, including transport.
An independent audit by Brand Compliance Belgique B.V. assessed both the procedures and their practical implementation.
For customers and partners, the label provides additional assurance regarding the continuity and reliability of the service.
GLS doubles its European network of pick-up points and parcel lockers
GLS has almost doubled its European network of pick-up points and parcel lockers in 24 months, from 70,000 to more than 130,000 locations.
Almost 29% of all B2C shipments within the European GLS network are now handled via a pick-up point or parcel locker.
In Belgium and Luxembourg as well, GLS continues to expand its network to offer recipients greater flexibility and help senders organise their shipments more efficiently and in a more customer-oriented way.
